The Corning Community College Red Barons Volleyball team is excited to announce the signing of two Corning-Painted Post High School standouts. Madison Gorges and Lauren Ball signed their National Letters of Intent on February 22, 2019 @ SUNY CCC.

Gorges and Ball as high school teammates have an impressive resume. They were STAC West champions in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2016, they were also Sectional champions, Regional champions, and finished in the top 4 at the State tournament. During their senior season, they were both named to the All-STAC West team. Maddie helped orchestrate the offense and was a leader on the court while Lauren was a go-to offensive threat in the middle.

"Lauren and Maddie will be true assets for us this upcoming season. Coming from a fundamentally sound program and having competed side-by-side for many years, will only benefit our team. I look forward to seeing what these two can do on the court and in the classroom" said Red Barons head coach Emily Andress.
