
The Corning Community College baseball team swept a doubleheader from visiting Broome CC on Tuesday afternoon by scores of 11-1 and 4-1. The Red Barons got two stellar pitching performance from Mario Caraballo and Donovan Arroyo.
In game one, Caraballo earned the win. Phil Derick went 2 for 4 Dominic Teoli was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and Austin Locke added 2 RBI's.
In game two, Corning broke open a 1-1 tie by scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. The rally was sparked by Locke's 2-run homerun. Jose Caceres singled in the innings other RBI. Junior Jimenez was 2 for 3.
Corning travels to Broome CC on Thursday for a doubleheader starting at 2pm.
