JT completed his first collegiate race with a time of 34:41 (46th place). When Hayden was asked about his performance, he said he was "very happy" and agreed that "it was a good start to the season".  Coach Casey expressed that "it was a great place to run our first meet of the season. I wanted the runners to see some rolling hills, some different terrain, and overall to just have fun and see what the first meet is all about". When asked about the performances Casey replied, "I'm extremely happy that Hayden was able to better last years time and that JT was able to complete his first collegiate race and feel out what collegiate running is like".

The Red Baron runners will now prepare to run another short course next weekend when they travel to Brockport next Saturday (9/9) for the Tom Balon Alumni Classic which is a 5k for both men and women.
