The SUNY Corning Women's Cross-country team competed in their second meet of the season, the Bruce Bridgman Invitational, at Finger Lakes Community College's Newark course. The course and conditions were very challenging in the 5k race, however, Katherine Hallinan from Elmira, NY placed 4th overall at the event with a time of 25.11.77. Anna Lares of Elmira, NY crossed the line as the 11th place finisher with a time of 27:10.96. Horseheads graduate, Clare Charboneau, finished in 24th place with a time of 32:24.28.
The Red Barons race again on Saturday, September 15th at the Yellowjacket Invitational located in Genesee Valley Park.
