The SUNY CCC Women's Soccer team defeated Lackawanna College by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday, October 6th at home.

Autumn Garrison started off the scoring with a tight angled shot just inside the 18 yard box that beat the keeper near post in the 12th minute. Lackawanna tied the game with five minutes to go in the first half after putting home a rebound inside the 6 yard box. The Red Barons and Garrison answered back ten seconds later off the kick off, Autumn made a cut back move just inside the 18 before beating the keeper to give SUNY CCC the lead for good. Stephanie Longwell and Garrison connected 10 seconds before halftime on a corner kick, as Autumn scored on a header completing the hat trick and putting the team up 3-1.

Two minutes into the second half, Garrison scored her fourth and final goal on a break away, as the Red Barons controlled the rest of the game and cruised to a 4-1 victory.

The Red Barons get their first win in October and play at Hudson Valley CC on 10/10/2021.
