SUNY Corning Tops SUNY Adirondack

In their final home stand of the regular season, the Red Baron women's soccer team took on the Timberwolves of SUNY Adirondack. After a back and forth first half the score remained tied at zero at halftime, SUNY Adirondack was awarded and coverted a penalty kick in the 50th minute taking a 1-0 lead. From that point forward SUNY Corning took possession and kept it on the Adirondack side of the field for the majority of the second half. In the 55th minute sophomore midfielder Sam Castaneda scored the Red Barons first goal from inside the six yard box, tying the game at 1-1. Ten minutes later Hannah Morse put home a rebound to give SUNY CCCC the lead 2-1, this was Hannah's 22nd goal of the season. With 10 minutes to go in the game Michaela Trivisonno found the ball at the back post and put home her first goal of the year to give the Red Barons a decisive 3-1 win. Taylor Gray finished the day with 10 saves on 11 shots.
