SUNY Corning Wins On The Road

The Red Barons Women's Soccer traveled to Mid-State Athlete Conference opponent Cayuga CC on Saturday October 5th. SUNY Corning came out firing in the first half, as Hannah Morse found the back of the net two minutes into the game while also providing an assist to sophomore Danielle Dennis for the second goal of the game in the fourth minute. Morse found the net again for her second of the game by dribbling through defenders before finishing inside the 18 yard box. With 5 minutes remaining in the half, Michaela Trivisonno found Amiya Abner at the top of the box for her first goal of the season.

The Red Barons continued their offensive prowess throughout the second half with goals by Hannah MorseDanielle Dennis, and Sam Castaneda. Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Gray finished the game with two saves completing her clean sheet. The team finishes conference play with a 4-2 record and hosts SUNY Adirondack next on Saturday, October 19th.
