Women's Basketball Drop Two In Final Road Trip Of Semester

The Red Barons women's basketball team lost both games on their final road trip of the season at Hudson Valley and SUNY Adirondack.

The Vikings jumped on the Red Barons early with a 24-6 first quarter and they never looked back finishing the game shooting 47% from the field and winning 87-25. 

-Ava Bruehwiler led the Red Barons with 11 points and 10 rebounds, recording her 4th double double of the season.

-Zoe Cornell scored 7 points and 9 rebounds for the Red Barons

 

At SUNY Adirondack the Red Barons hung tough with the Timberwolves down 11-8 after the first quarter. The Red Barons turnovers crept up in the second quarter as SUNY CC found themselves down 20 going into the half. SUNY Adirondack was able to pull away for the Regional victory earing their first win of the season 73-30. SUNY CCC played tough inside all day forcing the Timberwolves to foul 29 times and earning 36 shots from the free throw line.

-Suyen Lau set a career high with 14 points while getting to the free throw line 17 times

-Zoe Cornell scored 6 points to go with her 15 rebounds

-Alayna Henry corralled 16 rebounds in the effort.
