Women's Basketball Defends Kenner Court

The women's basketball team won their first game of the season against Region III opponent Clinton CC. The Red Barons played very well defensively allowing only 18 points in the first half and a total of 42 for the entire game while they also shot 90% from the charity stripe. The team had 4 players in double figures with freshman Blair Wampole leading the way with 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 blocks. Kiara Buxton scored 17 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and handed out 4 assists while Taylor Herberger and Autumn Edwards scored 13 and 10 points respectively for their team.
