Women’s basketball recruit, Breanna Palmatier, has signed her National Letter of Intent to further her playing career at Corning Community College. A native of Middleburgh, NY, Palmatier played five years of varsity basketball for the Golden Knights where she broke school records for most 3-point field goals in a season (53) and in a career (129) and also became the 2nd all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,215 career points. In her senior season she was named to the Western Athletic Conference Hudson Division 1st Team, Section II All-Star Team, and was designated Offensive MVP of her team.
Red Barons head coach, Mike Wright, spoke highly of Palmatier saying: “Bre is an outstanding player who can score inside and outside which makes her a great asset. We are excited to have her join our program and we believe that she is a great addition to the Red Baron family.” A Western Athletic Conference and New York State Scholar Athlete, Palamtier will be majoring in Criminal Justice.
