The SUNY CCC Red Barons softball team has earned the #2 seed heading into the NJCAA National Softball Tournament which begins Thursday. Corning drew #7 seeded Suffolk CC in their opening game Thursday at 1pm at Carrier Park Field of Dreams in Syracuse, New York. Corning (34-1) and Suffolk (23-3) squared off in the first games of Corning's season back in March as the Red Barons swept Suffok by scores of 10-6 & 9-0. Regardless of the outcome, Corning will play again at 5pm on Thursday.
