Michele DiNicola had another outstanding week at the plate as her efforts earned her NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week honors.  This past week she was 13 for 24 for a .542 batting average (also her season average), hit 3 doubles, 4 homeruns, collected 7 RBI's and scored 9 runs for the Red Barons.  DiNicola is currently ranked #3 in Region III in RBI's and #1 in homeruns.

Adding this seasons 9 homeruns to her 17 she hit in her freshman campaign, DiNicola has also set a new CCC school record for career homeruns.  The old mark of 23 was set by Liz Gorges during her 2008-10 career.  DiNicola's new standard is now at 26.
