The Corning softball team won big in game one 15-1 before dropping a slugfest in game two, 16-14, enroute to a split on the road at Niagara CCC. The Red Barons blasted 6 homeruns on the day including freshman Jessica Vidal-DeJesus hitting her first collegiate bomb. Michele DiNicola blasted two HR's as did Hailey Burdick. Laura Tryon was the other Red Baron to go yard. Vidal finished the day 6 for 9 with 3 doubles and 8 RBI's, DiNicola added 2 doubles to her 2 HR's with 4 RBI's and Burdick collected 5 RBI's. Laura Burrell picked up the win in the circle tossing a 5-hitter with 5 strikeouts.
