Michele DiNicola Named To Three All-American Teams

Michele DiNicola's record-breaking season has been recognized nationally as she was named to three separate All-American teams. The National Junior College Athletic Association, The National Fastpitch Coaches Association, and The National Fast Pitch each named her a member of their 1st team All-American end of the season awards. This is coupled with the Player of the Year awards she won for both, NJCAA Region III and the Mid-State Athletic Conference. DiNicola hit .526 with 71 hits on the year including 15 doubles, 3 triples, and 17 HR's with 80 RBI's on the season; breaking both the HR and RBI records in the process.

Michele is from Wayne High School and will be back for her sophomore season with the Red Barons after helping to lead the team to a Mid-State Conference Championship and a berth in the NJCAA Region III Finals, the team finished with a 27-12 overall record.
