Hayden Allington Wins Men’s MSAC Championship Race

The Red Barons hosted the 2023 MSAC Championship meet at the Y at Watson Woods in Painted Post this past Saturday. This invite marks the first invite of the postseason. Teams that attended were Broome CC, Finger Lakes CC, Onondaga CC, Tompkins Cortland CC, and Jefferson CC.

Broome Community College collected both the men and women team titles. Aja Jackson claimed the women's individual title for the conference.

SUNY CCC Red Baron's own Hayden Allington captured the men's individual title for the MSAC conference. Allington covered the 8k in 30:26. Allington was pleased with the performance, but stated "there's still more work to do". Coach Casey Swartz added that "this was another goal that Hayden was able to cross off his list. I'm extremely happy for him, but excited to see what he can keep on doing."

Allington was also declared the USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week for all of NJCAA DIII.

Allington will compete in the NJCAA Region 3 Championship this Saturday (10/28) at Finger Lakes Community College where he looks to advance to the National Championship in Huntsville, AL on 11/11.
