The SUNY Corning Community College men's cross country team took full advantage of their opportunity to participate this Fall and claimed a team victory in Region III's first athletic event of the academic year.  Freshman Hayden Belanger led the way finishing fourth overall with a time of 18:12.5 in the 5K race.  Brody Hayes-Glick finished 5th, Hadden Crawford 8th, Kyle Davenport 10th, James Himmelreich 12th and Dennis Pierce 14th.  The team posted a score of 39, eight points higher than the runner-up.  Cross Country is the only sport competing this fall in NJCAA Region III. 

Up next, the Red Barons will travel to Fulton Montgomery CC in Johnstown, NY to compete on September 19.
