Freshman Men's Cross-Country runner Dennis Pierce III was named one of the NJCAA Region III Athletes Of The Week due to his performance at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational this past weekend.

Pierce finished with a time of 29:56.9, a personal best, the best time among community college runners, and the top finisher among the seven Region III schools attending the invitational.
