Bushey Steps Down As Head Coach

Head Coach Isaac Bushey steps down as the men's basketball coach at SUNY CCC after 9 seasons on the bench for the Red Barons.

During his tenure, SUNY Corning CC has accumulated a record of 131-77 with two Mid-State Athletic Conference regular season titles, one MSAC Tournament title, multiple national rankings, and has reached the NJCAA DIII Region III Tournament every season, including four Final Four appearances. In the last 9 years (8 seasons), the Red Barons have had two 1,000 point scorers (Sayquan Chambers & Christian Simmons), 17 All-MSAC Team selections, 10 named to NJCAA DIII Region III All-Region teams, two Mid-State Conference Players of the Year (Sayquan Chambers & Christian Simmons) , and one NJCAA DIII All-American (Christian Simmons.) Coach Bushey was named the Mid-State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Twice and the NJCAA DIII Region III Coach of the Year once.
