The Red Barons Men's Basketball team capped off a perfect week with victories over Cayuga CC and Onondaga CC and has now won 6 games in a row.

Versus Cayuga, both teams got off to a very slow start with their first game back from Thanksgiving break. Corning led at the half 23-21. The Red Barons offense woke up in the second half, recording 51 points over the final 20 minutes of play to secure the win 74-64. Samir Lockhart scored a team high 15 points while handing out four assists. Jaden Arroyo scored 12 points with strong minutes off the bench and Cameron Rhode added 10 points in the win.

The Red Barons traveled to Onondaga CC and escaped with a 101-99 win in overtime. SUNY CCC was down one point at halftime after finishing the first 20 minutes on a 6-0 run with back to back three point baskets by Xavier Hill and Papa Ba. The Red Barons were down two points with 20 seconds to play when Jaden Arroyo was fouled going to the basket. He calmly sank both free throws sending the Red Barons into overtime. Corning and Onondaga were tied at 99 with 10 seconds to play when Dwight Reed tipped in a missed shot with 2 seconds left to play. When the Lazers desperation heave missed at the buzzer the Red Barons celebrated their 6th consecutive win in a row.

-Samir Lockhart led the Red Barons with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

-Xavier Hill scored 17 points, grabbed a game high 15 rebounds, and handed out 6 assists.

-Jaden Arroyo and Cameron Rhode each scored 17 points for the Red Barons.
