The Red Barons Men's Basketball team handled SUNY Broome in their home opener, 82-67.

SUNY CCC led for 38 minutes in their first home game of the season vs MSAC rival SUNY Broome Community College. The Red Barons went into halftime up 10 points and out scored the Hornets by 5 points in the second half to cruise to a 15 point victory. The Red Barons handed out 19 assists and swiped 21 steals while getting 37 points from their bench.

• Xavier Hill dominated in the paint scoring 15 points and corralling 12 rebounds
• Dwight Reed chipped in 11 points
