Bushey Wins 100th, Red Barons Top Broome CC

Head Men's Basketball Coach Isaac Bushey received the 100th win of his career as the Red Barons defeated SUNY Broome by a score of 98-66 on Wednesday, February 12th.  Coach Bushey is the third coach in the men's basketball programs history to accomplish this feat, joining the late Wayne Kenner and Bill Limoncelli. Bushey has been named the NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year once, the Mid-State Athletic Coach of the Year two times, while qualifying his team for regional play in all six years with three regional final four appearances. Coach Bushey a graduate of Canisius College and Hilbert College also serves as the Director of Athletics at SUNY Corning and currently boasts a career record of 100-55.

The Red Barons are the winners of 12 out of their last 14 games and are riding a hot streak as they head towards the NJCAA Region III Tournament. Ramel Powers and Sam Kelly paced the team with 23 and 19 points while Keith Harris contributed 15 points in the win. The Red Barons continued shooting the ball on 62% shooting from the field and 43% from long range.
