The SUNY Corning baseball team played hard and gave it their all despite dropping two games to NJCAA D1 Monroe CC this past weekend.

Freshman Jacob Freeland and Kevin Serrano collected 3 total hits a piece while Ryess Youmans provided 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the offense. Zach Wood and Owen Demember had two hits in Game 2 while Aaron Lane had a double and an RBI. Freshman Outfielder Tommy Elliot and Freshman infielder Sam Jewiss each recorded their first hit and RBI on the season.

The Red Barons take on the Jayhawks of Jamestown at home this Wednesday, April 28th at 2 pm.
