The SUNY Corning baseball team took both games from Jefferson CC over the weekend with stand out pitching performances from Kevin Serrano and Nate Chorney.

In Game 1, Kevin Serrano threw all 9 innings giving up 6 hits and striking out 11 batters for another complete game win for the freshman. Serrano also provided 3 hits , Garrett Socola and Ryess Youmans supplied 2 hits a piece in the 5-4 extra inning victory. Freshman Draven Rodriguez scored the game winning run after recording his first collegiate hit, stolen base, and run scored all in the bottom of the 9th inning.

In Game 2, Nate Chorney helped the Red Barons to a 2-0 victory by throwing a complete game 3 hitter, striking out 6 batters, and only walking one. Serrano provided two hits and scored both runs and freshman outfielder Aaron Lane added one more hit for the offense.
