Sophomore Shortstop Victor Torres earned plenty of post season awards for his efforts on the team this past season. Victor was named to the All Mid-State Athletic Conference team as he hit .443 in conference play with 9 doubles, 4 triples, 1 HR, 9 RBIs, and a .770 slugging percentage. Mr. Torres was also honored for his Region III play as he was named to the 2nd team while hitting .407 on the season with 14 doubles, 5 triples, 1 HR, 16 RBIs, and a .636 slugging percentage. Victor was also named to the Region III All-Glove team which awards the best defensive player at each position, he had a .920 field percentage while turning 12 double plays and assisting on 93 outs. Victor also has claimed a few spots in the record books for SUNY CCC as he now owns the single season triples record with 5 this past season. He has broken the slugging percentage record for a single season with .636 percentage and career slugging percentage with .613 percent.
