Josh Updyke was in a groove going 3-4 from the plate while scoring 4 runs and knocking in 2 RBI's, Victor Torres had a mutli-hit game as well, finishing 2-3 on the day with a homerun to left and a double collecting 3 RBI's in the game. Parker May had 3 hits and scored 2 runs, Zach Turner finished with 2 hits and an RBI.

In Game 2, the Corning trailed Jefferson 4-1 going into the Top of the 7th inning before Jefferson exploded for 7 runs which ended any thoughts of a Corning comeback. The Red Barons collected 8 hits in the game but could only scratch across 1 run. Josh Updyke and Chris McKibben each contributed two hits while McKibben had the Red Barons only RBI plating Heldon Ramos after a double.
