Condon Steps Down As Baseball Coach

Head Baseball coach Lou Condon has stepped down from his position, effective immediately. Condon has cited personal reasons for this decision.

"I want to thank Lou Condon for his years of dedication to the program and for helping our young student-athletes on and off the field. We wish him the best in the future." said Director of Athletics Isaac Bushey.

Condon has served as the skipper of the Red Barons baseball program since 2012 and has seen the program through some significant changes during his tenure. The addition of on-campus residential housing and a state-of-the-art synthetic turf field on campus has allowed Condon to align the program for success. Condon came to Corning CC after 28 seasons with the Corning Painted Post school district as a history teacher and baseball coach.

With the season underway, Bushey will assume the role as interim head coach for the remainder of the season while a search for a new coach will begin in May.
