All-State Houghtling Signs with Red Barons Baseball

Thomas A. Edison High School baseball star Adam Houghtling has signed his NJCAA National Letter of Intent to attend and play baseball at Corning Community College in the fall of 2017.  Houghtling had a stellar high school career at TAE, capped off by winning a Section IV Class C Title in his senior season.  He led the Spartans by belting 32 hits, good for a .438 batting average.  Six of those hits were doubles, 3 triples and one homerun, resulting in 21 RBI's.  Adam was named a First-Team All-New York State Class C player.

Corning coach Lou Condon had this to say of Houghtling's decision to become a Red Baron; "Adam is a tremendous young man and a truly outstanding athlete.  His statistics and 1st team All-State designation are proof of that ability.  Corning Community College is lucky to have a person of Adam's ability and character as part of the student body and as a member of our Red Barons baseball program.  He is a huge addition to our recruting class and I look for him to make an immediate impact on our culture."
