Baseball Drops Two at Broome

The Red Barons baseball team dropped two tough games at Brome CC Thursday afternoon by scores of 7-4 and 1-0. 

In game one, Corning couldn't answer Broome's 3-run third inning.  Curtis Pierce and Austin Locke each had two hits with Locke collecting 2 RBI's.  In game two, Dominic Teoli pitched 6 innings of shutout ball, allowing four hits but Corning couldn't score a run to support him.  Broome managed to finally cross the plate in the bottom of the 8th inning for the win.  Corning's sole hit was from Philip Derick.

Corning hosts Schenectady Friday and travels to Jamestown CC on Saturday.
